AROUND AND ABOUT THE NEW TESTAMENT II
Christianity is unique among the religions of the world in that it was born with sacred books lying in its cradle ready to be taken up later. As far as we know, Jesus wrote nothing, nor did the first generation of Christians, yet today we have a Christian collection of sacred books; namely, the New Testament Canon. How this came about during the first four centuries will be vital to our correct understanding of each work set within its own background and through the eyes of its intended readers.
