The ESO had the great honour of being invited by the William Walton Trust to give the opening concert at the new Greek Theatre outdoor performing space set in the famous garden at La Mortella, the Waltons’ home on the island of Ischia, off Naples, while celebrating Lady Walton’s 80th birthday.
